 Criterium Course Map (click for big, 31 KB) Visalia Criterium Sunday, March 18th, 2007 Course Description: 0.7-mile, 6-turn course in Downtown Visalia. Flat and fast! Start/Finish located at Acequia Ave. & Johnson St. Free Lap applies per rule book, bring your own wheels. Technical support provided by Shimano. Directions: From Hwy 99, take Hwy 198 east and the Downtown Visalia exit. Turn left at the light (West St) to cross over the freeway, then left on Mineral King to parking areas. Exclusive Pro and Team areas available. Registration: Online registration available at http://www.sportsbaseonline.com. Race-day registration opens at 6:30 a.m. Sunday morning and closes 30 minutes prior to posted start time; located at Acequia Ave. & Stevenson St. Online registration closes Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at midnight EST. Onsite registration: add $5. Unattached riders: add $5. All second race fees $10. District and National Champ fees reimbursed at check-in if racing in champ category. Under 18 must have parent/guardian signature, and will race with their respective senior category. Current USCF Annual License required at check-in (except Men Cat 5, Men 35+ Cat 5, and Women Cat 4; One Day OK). Entry fees include surcharges and insurance fees, and are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Prize List Details: Pro categories 100% cash. Amateur categories merchandise and/or cash, except Men Masters 35+ 5/Cat 5 Public (medals). Additional primes available throughout the day. First four races each have combined starts but are picked separately for prizes. Official Race Headquarters: Located at Lamp Liter Inn, off Hwy 198 (heading east, take Demaree St exit, east on Noble to County Center, then left over the highway), just minutes from the Criterium Course.
