Course Description: 40k with two climbs. Start at Exeter High School, over the world-famous Rocky Hill, into Yokohl Valley, then turn around and back to Start/Finish. Centerline rule in effect. FIRST AND LAST 5k ARE NOT FLAT!!! Neutral support will be provided at various locations on the course.
Directions: From Hwy 99, take Hwy 198 east through Visalia to Highway 65. Turn right to head into Exeter and marked parking areas. Exeter High School is located at 505 Rocky Hill Dr just east of Hwy 65. Exclusive Pro and Team parking available.
Registration: Online registration at http://www.sportsbaseonline.com, available 1/1/08 - 3/12/08, is strongly recommended. Onsite registration and advanced check-in is available at Race Headquarters Friday, March 14th, from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. or at the race course Saturday, March 15th, from 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Absolutely no new registration after 11:30 a.m. Saturday morning! Onsite registration: add $5 (space may be limited). Unattached riders: add $5 (waived for Juniors). Under 18 must have parent/guardian signature. Current USCF Annual License required at check-in (except all Juniors, Masters Cat 5, Men Cat. 5 and Women Cat. 4; One Day OK). Entry fees include surcharges and insurance fees, and are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Event Details: All pre-registered rider start times will be posted at http://www.sequoiaclassic.org by Thursday, March 13th, 12:00 p.m. PST. Riders off every 30 seconds. You must be in the staging area and signed in 5 minutes prior to your start time. There will be no reassigned start times! NO EXCEPTIONS!
Prize List Details: Pro categories 100% cash. Amateur categories merchandise and/or cash, except Men Elite 5-Public.
Official Race Headquarters: Located at Lamp Liter Inn, off Hwy 198 (heading east, take Demaree St exit, east on Noble to County Center, left over the highway) in Visalia, approx. 15 minutes from the TT. Advanced check-in available Friday, March 14th, 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Special room rates available for reservations made prior to March 1st. Call them at 1-800-662-6692!
